Hello Mountain Lions,
This week our game is an away game. Practices for Tuesday and Wednesday are 3:30 for special teams and 4:00-6:00pm for everyone. Thursday you’ll wear your jersey to school with PANTS. Be ready with all your gear by 4:00 pm to board the bus. On the bus you’ll wear your girdle, game pants, socks, regular shoes, the shirt you’ll wear under your pads with your black SV track suit on top. If you have a gear bag or large duffel bag bring it for your helmet, shoulder pads, game jersey and cleats. You are responsible for your gear including mouth pieces, visors, back plates, BELTS, and any supportive devices.

Bring a snack or pack a light meal. You will have just a little time between school getting out and boarding the bus. Nothing heavy. Carbs before games and water.

You’re game is at 6:30pm at Silverado High School. All players must ride the bus to and from the game. Parents are welcome, and encouraged, to attend the game and pick up your player at SVHS after the game. Please allow for travel time. DO NOT FORGET THAT ALL PLAYERS TRAVEL IN THEIR TRACK SUITS. Look like a team, perform like a team.! We are the SV Mountain Lions and we will carry ourselves and behave accordingly.

Friday is dress attire day. EVERY SV football player wears slacks, dress shirt, and a tie. NO EXCEPTIONS!

GRADES! GRADES! GRADES! You are STUDENT athletes. Do not be that kid who can’t play in a game because of poor grades. I’m very impressed with our JV team. You’ve practiced well, played hard and now you are seeing the pay off. Keep shining and give 💯.
