Titans,
Hopefully everyone has stayed healthy and safe over spring break, and that the Titan Football community has kept their spirits high during the challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. As a football program and high school, we are required to follow the mandated school closures ordered by the Riverside County Health Officials--which stipulate that all school activities will be suspended until April 30, 2020. Additionally, the CIF Southern-Section offices are slated to have closures until March 27, 2020, and they have not released any information regarding the upcoming football season.
While these trying times have seemingly halted the progress we have made in 2020, my goal is to continue to build on the positive momentum that we have generated this offseason. Even though we are separated at this time because of social distancing and mandated suspensions of activities, we can still contribute to our individual and team’s success by collectively working on a few of the following objectives:
● Physical Fitness and Conditioning
○ Workouts will be posted on Blast for individuals that have access to
weights, as well as for those who do not.
● Playbook Study
○ Installations have been uploaded to the “Playbook” section on Hudl
○ Access installations and scroll through diagrams of plays--select the
position you anticipate you will play, learn it. ● Communicate
○ Reach out to each other and stay in contact with your teammates.
○ Social Media Challenges, FaceTime, Calls, Texts--let’s communicate and
stay tight as we are forced to be apart.
Wishing everyone good health and safety as the Titan Community and everyone in the world is confronted with these difficult times. I am thinking about all of our players and coaches and missing our team as we are apart during this time! Prepare as best you can, and do everything you can to be ready when we are given the opportunity to come back together!
