Hi Everyone! Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone is as excited as I am about the game this Saturday! There is a lot happening, so I'll just dive right into all the information!

1) Since this is a Championship game, Palomar Conference has set an entry fee. Here is information about the fee and other items from the league:

* $10 entry for guests 16 yrs and older. Cash or Venmo ONLY. FREE PARKING.
* Only rostered coaches with a team playing in championships AND have their credentials will receive FREE entry.
* Parking should occur in front lot only. Front gate (home side/west side) will be only gate open for entry/exit. Back gate (along Calle Acervo) will be closed.
* Absolutely no entry on emergency access road or parking in lower lot. Vehicles will be towed.
* No alcohol, smoking, vaping, etc.
* No pets. Service animals only.
* Have fun and remember it is just a game....its all about the kids ;-)

2) As the #2 seed, we are the AWAY team, so please sit on the Visitor side. I think we all saw the difference it made when our stands stood up and cheered LOUDLY! It really does pump the kids up knowing our stands support them! Let's be loud and proud for the whole game!

3) Please have your player on the field and ready to warm up at 7:15am, game time is 9:00am. Your player needs to be dressed in their WHITE game jersey, game pants, Navy game socks, shoulder pads, cleats, and helmet with mouthpiece attached. Please check the mouthpiece, if it's at all chewed, please err on the side of caution and replace it. Players must have either ALL 7 pads in their game pants or wear a padded girdle + knee pads. Any player missing any equipment will NOT be able to play in the game.

4) Please go to the Shutterfly page https://lccpw10umavericks.shutterfly.com/snacks
and sign up for the remaining volunteer spots.Thank you so much!

5) Our team party is scheduled! It will be on Sunday (I didn't pick a Sat because I'm hoping we still have more Saturday games to play!), 11/17 at 3pm @ Dave & Buster's in Carlsbad. We will have our own room for 2 hours (FUNction Room 1). Food and drinks are included for the boys, and parents and siblings will be able to purchase their own food, drinks, and game cards separately. The boys will also receive a $20 Power Card and unlimited video game (non ticket giving) play for the day. Please feel free to hang out in the main area after 5pm (I know we will) and let your player continue playing. PLEASE RSVP to me by Wed, 11/6 either via text or email (760-412-0516, [email protected]). I hope EVERYONE can make it!

6) I have 1 Navy, flat brim LCCPW hat with the gold stitching left (like the one some of the coaches have). The FIRST person that responds to this message gets it. Cost is $15.

Whew! I know this is a lot, but with the season winding down, there is a lot of information to go through. I have a couple of requests that will help us win this game. First, please make sure your player is reviewing the playbook and knows his plays. At this point, everyone should KNOW where they are supposed to be and what they are supposed to do and shouldn't rely on seeing the playbook. Coaches won't have the time or ability to show players their plays during the game. Secondly, please have a discussion with your player about the importance of being disciplined. We talked about this on Tues, and reminded them how undisciplined our opponent looked at book check, and it showed in their warm up and game play. Lastly, I want to thank everyone for their continued support. No player, parent or staff member is above the team. As long as your player is learning and having fun, then the season was a success! A "team above all" mindset makes a united family, and that is what we are, A FAMILY! I love this team with my whole heart!

Thank you again to all of you! Let's go get this WIN on Saturday!
