About Us

Rowland High School has a rich tradition in swimming. Alumni Joey Clements (2004 and 2008) and brother Kevin Clements (2000 and 2004) went on to compete in the US Olympic Trials. In 2008, Sophomore Kylie Garcia, competed at the United States Swimming Trials. Over the years there have been numerous All- Americans, CIF Champions and League Champions. In 2006, Angela Kanigowski became the first Rowland Swimmer to earn a top spot at the CIF Masters Meet. 2010 turned out to be a great year for Rowland Swimming with Kylie Garcia winning a CIF title! 2014 and 2015 Michael Wang won two titles in the 100 Free, while setting two CIF records. 2016 and 2017 Rowland Swim took CIF Runner up for girls. Boys won the CIF Team title in 2017. In 2018 Boys and Girls won CIF. Katelyn Nguyen has won 7 CIF Titles. Last year the girls won the 200 Free and 400 Free relay titles setting a new CIF record in the 200 Free Relay
