Coach David March is starting his fourth season as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at El Segundo High School. He comes back to El Segundo, his alma mater, where he played and coached under Hall of Fame Coach Rick Sabosky. Before returning to his alma mater, Coach March was an assistant coach at Los Angeles Harbor College and Cal State Dominguez Hills the previous ten seasons. Prior to that, Coach March worked with the varsity program at St. Monica High School and El Segundo High School as a lower level coach and varsity assistant where his coaching career began. Coach March earned his B.S. in Kinesiology and California Teaching Credential from Cal State Long Beach and his M.A. in Physical Education Administration from Cal State Dominguez Hills. March is currently married to his wife Jennifer and they have two children together Blake and Jordan.

EL segundo JV Basketball Coach Coach DeSanti has been Coaching Freshman and Frosh/Soph basketball for 2 seasons, including a league title his first year as Freshman Head Coach compiling a 21-6 record in his first season and finished Season 2 as the Frosh Soph coach and compiled a 15-13 record. This year in his 3rd season DeSanti will take over the JV program. Prior to Coaching Basketball at El Segundo, Coach DeSanti was an assistant Coach at Edmonds College in Washington State. In College Coach DeSanti played his Freshman season in College at Washington State University on a full football scholarship and was a Wide Reciever of the 1997 Pac 10 championship team and 1998 Rose Bowl participant. Coach DeSanti transferred to University of Utah on a football scholarship and was a member of the UTES for the 1998 and 1999 seasons where he played Wide Reciever and Free Safety and a walk on for the Elite 8 mens basketball team under Head Coach Rick Majerus, and winning a Mountain West Championship in football and basketball during the 1999 seasons. Before finishing his senior season at Cal State Northridge, Coach DeSanti played one season of football and basketball at Mt Sac in Walnut CA. Coach DeSanti was all Mission conference and a member of JC Gridwires all america team during the 99-00 Season. Also averaged 17.3 points and 7 rebounds for the mountie basketball team, earning second team all Mission Conference. Coach DeSanti spent his senior season at Cal State Northridge on a football s scholarship and was Big Sky All Conference during his final season. Finishing his college career overall with 2400 yards recieving and 13 total touchdowns, 29 tackles and 5 interceptions and on the basketball court averaging 13.3 points and 5.2 rebounds in his college basketball career. Coach DeSanti attended Los Altos HS in Hacienda Heights and graduated in 1997. Coach DeSanti lettered 3 years in Football, Basketball and Baseball. DeSanti was 1997 Cal Hi magazine California Multi Pupose player of the year and a Grid Iron Great All American and picked by ESPN for the All West team. Recorded 83 catches 1550 yards and 15 touchdowns playing Wide reciever and recorded 60 tackles and 12 interceptions at Free Safety All CIF and All Miramonte league player of the year Jr year All CIF all League first team Basketball Sophomore 1st team all Miramonte League Junior 1st team all CIF division 2 and 1st team all Miramonte league Senior year 2nd team all CIF division 2 and 1st team all Miramonte league Coach DeSanti is Married to April DeSanti and they have 3 kids, Coral, Nathan and Tyler.
