This will be my first season as head varsity coach, and I am more than thrilled to get started! I have played basketball all my life including 4 years at cross town rival Cerritos high school, two years of community college, and one year overseas in the Philippines. I have coached for 2 years at Cerritos high and one year at Whitney high. Our main goals for the season are for these players/coaches to build high character along with enriching lifelong skills. Additionally, for everybody to have fun, learn to play the game the right way and foster a winning attitude. “Stronger together” is our motto this year and is essential to our success. Having a team mindset and everybody striving together for one common goal is what it’s all about!
