Michael Geren began his teaching career at Santa Fe High School in 1997. Mr. Geren teaches Advanced Placement - Government and Politics, Honors - Economics, and College Prep - United States History. He is the Track & Field Head Coach. Mr. Geren earned his Bachelor’s Degree (1996) and Teaching Credential from Whittier College. He earned his Master’s Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University in 2009. Mr. Geren's previous positions include Physical Education instructor, Boy's Basketball Coach and Program Director, Girl's Basketball Coach and Program Director, Girls Sideline Cheer Advisor, Assistant Baseball Coach, Assistant Golf Coach, and Assistant Athletic Director.
