Coach Josh is a proud graduate of Leilehua High School (c/o 2001) where he was a 4 year varsity basketball player. As a senior helped lead the team to 3rd place in the OIA and 5th in the State averaging 15 ppg and led the team in 3 pointers made. He also lettered in volleyball 3 years and 1 year in baseball. Coach Josh is married to wife Charlotte for 17 years. Has 5 kids- Trayjan(17), Landyn(15), Zoiey(13), Ziyan (12), Ziley Quinn (6). All who is part of Posse Basketball. Coach Josh played for team Posse (1994) which was founded by Peter Tomas. He then carried the tradition in 2009 and has grown the club from 8 kids to 50 kids with 5 different teams. Coach Josh started his coaching career at 18 years old coaching for Leilehua under his Head Coach Keith Spencer. He spent 10 seasons there and in 2009 restarted the Posse Basketball Club. He is currently the Head JV Boys coach at Leilehua where he has lead them to back to back JV OIA championships. Coach Josh also serves as an assistant on the Varsity team also.
