Coach Bios


Bryan grew up playing soccer in Southern California more specifically in Camarillo, California. Bryan attended Rio Mesa High School where his team won the Channel League and Pacific View League championship. Bryan received awards for All Channel League, All Pacific View League as well as All Ventura County and All CIF during his career. After high school, Bryan went on to play Division I soccer at UC Santa Barbara as well as Liberty University. After Bryan completing his degrees in Business/Economics and Spanish, he was signed by the Southern California Seahorses (USL) which eventually led to a professional contract with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds (USL). Bryan is is entering his third season as the Camarillo High School Girls Varsity Soccer Coach. Bryan is a USSF B Licensed coach who has 20 years of coaching experience ranging from 3 year olds all the way to the college level. He has coached both girls and boys in high school at Saint Bonaventure, Westlake and Oaks Christian High Schools. Currently he is the director of a soccer club in Camarillo along with coaching teams and running his soccer training academy. In his first two seasons, he has guided the Lady Scorps to the CIF playoffs each year reaching the second round and quarterfinal rounds. He hopes to continue the trend to League and CIF Title! Bryan believes in possession soccer and hopes to inspire the students athletes to pursue excellence in all of their life endeavors!
Currently an MSA FC coach & administrator, Steve has coached soccer for over 34 years. He holds a National USSF license. During his 8 years as Assistant Coach at Ventura College Women's Soccer program the team played in the State Final Four, earned 6 berths to the Southern California Playoffs, & won 7 Conference Championships. Steve coached at the Eagles Soccer Club, assistant coached Real So Cal teams, & coached AYSO. As a Board Member & Tournament Director for both the Eagles Soccer Club & AYSO, Steve has been actively engaged on many levels in community soccer. In 2000, Steve was named as one of the top 5 nominees of thousands of coaches recognized as Cal South "Coach of the Year" receiving an award at a Galaxy game. At MSA FC, Steve is dedicated to developing the technical ability of aspiring young soccer players to take them to the next level. All three of his children played collegiate soccer, earning scholarships. They all excelled and were recognized with awards for their achievements. Steve is also currently the President of Life Sports Ministries International, a non-profit organization which supports various programs in the community. In earlier years, Steve played professional baseball in South America after he played at CSUN where he went to the College World Series. He also played on multiple World Series Championship teams including Colt, Pony, & American Legion and a CIF champion high school team.
