South Torrance Girls Softball Fundraiser

Welcome to the SOUTH HIGH SOFTBALL fundraising page! We are excited to be kicking off the 2021 season. As you know, the softball program is basically self-funded. We get very little financial support from the school or the district and rely on fundraising to make sure the girls have everything they need--a nice field, uniforms, equipment, etc. With money we have raised in the past couple seasons, we: purchased our own mower so we can take care of our outfield grass; installed a new outfield fence; purchased and built our new batting cage; and purchased a scoreboard (which should arrive soon). But there is always more to do. We expect to have a nice banquet again. We take care of our seniors with banners and end-of-the-year gifts in recognition of their contributions. We have special events during the year to promote team bonding. It all costs money. We set a yearly goal of raising $500 per player, and in the past have gone about that various ways. In light of the way the world is, and in an effort to avoid hand-to-hand fundraising as much as possible, we thought we would try something new this year. The money we raise through this fundraiser will continue to directly benefit the girls in the program, as there are always needs (field upgrades, uniform upgrades, etc.) You are receiving this special invitation to be a part of the SOUTH HIGH SOFTBALL FAMILY! We are hoping that you take our team into consideration and potentially donate to support the girls in the sport they love. Any amount you can afford helps.
