I want to wish everyone a great finish to your school year. This year has been unlike any that I have seen in all my years in education and I know that everyone is ready for it to finish so we can move toward a more normal one in the future. Our team will be working out over the summer and all of the activities are optional, however the more you do to make yourself stronger and faster will help when we hit the slopes next winter. I highly encourage everyone to participate in one of the two strength-training options. Option 1---Iron Scots Program that information was sent out earlier. This is a great way to get in shape and workout with athletes from other teams. If you chose to do this program please let me know. There is more information on the team website and on Blast. Option 2---The Ski Team will have two workouts in the weight room most weeks. We have some flexibility on the day of the week and time----This will most likely be late afternoons. There will be a survey at the end of this email for you to fill out so I can work on planning the specific dates for our workouts. Mountain Bike Riding---We will ride on Wednesday evenings at 5:30. The location will rotate between Hammond Hills and Yankee Springs (we may add another day or try other courses if there is interest).
