We will be working out Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:30 in the weight room at the North Campus this summer. If you are working out at the Iron Scots or through a private club you do not need to attend but let me know which you are doing. Tuesdays are Mountain Bike Night!! We (the coaches and some parents are riding too) will ride at 5:30 and have been riding Hammond Hills & Yankee Springs Deep Lake trail depending on the week. You do not need to be an expert or a speed demon to have a great time biking. MTB works on many skills that will help you as a skier--core control, visual control at speeds, balance, physical conditioning and so much more. There a few loaner bikes around, please let me know asap if you need to borrow one. Each week, we will be selecting the best workout picture/video so be sure to take a photo or video of you doing your thing (be creative and think inside and outside of the box for workouts) and upload it to Blast. Each weekly winner will in a prize (Cal Ski Team Beanie---2022 version). Coach Rob and I will pick each week’s winner and announce the winner on Sundays, so be sure to upload at least one photo a week by Saturday at Midnight to have a chance at winning.
