This is Coach Crossman's 16th year as a teacher and 12th as girl's basketball coach at Jackson. He is a graduate of Wickliffe High School in Wickliffe, Ohio. He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He then went on to earn his teaching license and master's degree from Ashland University. He currently resides in Jackson with his wife, Missy and their two daughters.

Coach Butch is entering his 18th season coaching basketball and 8th year as Head Coach of the Lady Polar Bears. His previous coaching stops include Minerva, Warren JFK and Akron Springfield. Last season, Coach Butch earned Federal League and Northeast District coach of the year honors. During the spring of 2019, he was the Head Coach of North team in the annual Ohio North vs South game played in Columbus. Coach Butch is originally from Cortland, Ohio where he graduated from Lakeview High School in 2002. He then went on to graduate from Mount Union College in the spring of 2006 with a degree in Mathematics. Coach Butch currently teaches Algebra I at Jackson High School. He is married to his beautiful wife Taylor and they currently reside in Jackson township with their baby boy Frankie and dog Boomer.
