About Us

Dear Potential Sponsor: The Carolina Bad Boyz are an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball team and a non-profit organization that was established in 2015. Since then, it has provided young men with the unique opportunity of learning the fundamentals of basketball, while developing essential life skills such as teamwork, perseverance, dedication, and decision making. The word “bad” symbolizes the strengths of our kids; their undeniable pride, potential, and greatness. We strongly believe that they should use the sport as a tool to further their education and express themselves through a passion that they have. Our staff serve as mentors and coaches to help with the players’ personal growth and to prepare them for success. We humbly request your financial support to help our kids. As you consider our request, we ask that you consider it as not just another donation, but an investment into the community. From our experiences, we have learned that children who have supportive networks are more likely to advance in their academic careers and make better life choices due to constant motivation and guidance. We want to develop our kids into excellent basketball players, but more importantly, outstanding student-athletes and citizens who will likely be selected to compete at the collegiate level for basketball and in the hunt for their future jobs in the workforce. We want them to offer something to the world other than their athletic abilities. Being a part of an AAU program allows us to travel around the southeast for highly competitive tournaments for the kids to gain exposure. Some tournaments are local, and others require us to travel larger distances. Currently, we are seeking donations at various levels. This request is to help with traveling and hotel expenses, tournament fees, team attire, and uniforms. Your sponsorship at any level will impact several players, and even greater, our community at large. Please review the levels of sponsorship and their associated rewards.
