I am the modified 7/8 grade Coach. I am passionate about sports playing 3 sports every year of high school and college basketball. Since moving to Saugerties NY in 2004 I have been involved in coaching and developing youth sports. Most recently with re-starting SAY-LAX youth lacrosse as a feeder program For Saugerties jr/sr high lacrosse program .

I am a graduate of Saugerties High School where I played varsity lax from 2005-2008. I was able to play on some very successful teams under Coach Slate, securing 4 section IX titles. I went to college at SUNY Oneonta where I played club lacrosse. After graduating college, I taught physics at FDR High School in Hyde Park. I coached both JV and varsity lax at FDR before accepting the physics position in Saugerties. Lacrosse shaped who I was as a person from junior high all the way through college. I am very much looking forward to being able to contribute to the program that gave so much to me. Glad to once again be a part of Sawyer Lax!
