Doug Maughan began coaching track & field in 2002. In 2006, he became the head girls coach and then both the girls and boys programs combined in 2012. Coach Maughan credits hard-working athletes, supportive parents, and dedicated coaches as the reason SPTF has established itself as a competitive and well-respected program. SPTF constantly has well over 200 student-athletes competing each spring and has a large number of alumni competing at the collegiate level.
