Dear Lions Football Family 🦁🏈 Hard to believe we're in our last week of league games, as we go up against Mater Dei this week. Facing the #1 team in the country is exciting and I look forward to seeing our boys rise to the occasion! They will only get better! 💪✝️ Looking back on our Homecoming game, is just heartbreaking. Absolutely, not the outcome we wanted for our seniors last home game. They played their butts off and it was great to hear their highlights over the PA. Thank you to their families who were part of honoring them and recognizing their dedication to Jserra and the football program! After having a 4 year player graduate from the program, I have a very special place in my heart for these players and families❤ To the sophomore, junior and senior families; it has felt like the Longest. Season. Ever. There has been a lot of football this calendar year. A lot. It's been physically gruelling and mentally demanding for 10 months of getting banged up and I am incredibly proud of these boys. We go into our last game ranked 36th in the state! If you pay attention to the rankings, take a look at where OLU is🙄 Makes no sense🤔 Lastly, HOCO Night‼️ The boys cleaned up GOOOOD😍 After missing last year to COVID, it was so awesome to see these boys get 'dolled up' and celebrate together with some #lionspirit❣✝️ The narrative I will continue to communicate is how special these players are, how hard they've worked and our record does NOT reflect, how good we really are🙏 #siempreadelante #PR1DE #wearelionnation GO LIONS 🦁🏈 JSerra Boosters P. S. I trolled social media to grab these shots 😉
