Good Morning, For players who are turning in physicals that expire during the season, our AD will not clear them. I know some are having trouble scheduling with their primary doctor due to the expiration date, my suggestion is to go to a walk in clinic. Here are options provided by the school. Ocean Medical in Redondo Beach ($29 - 7 days a week) I am the office manager here at Ocean Medical and I just wanted to take a moment to inform you that we are open and staffed for any and all sports physicals like we have been for the past 30 years, at the low price of $29.00! We are so pleased to see that as Covid dies down, our students are able to semi get back to normal life. including their sports! We do Sports physicals on a walk-in basis any time we are open. Monday - Thursday we are open from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Fridays we are open 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday we are open from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Please feel free to reach out should you have any questions. Ashley Iglesias, CMA Office Manager Ocean Medical 310-316-1661 Ext. 114 Fax: (424) 903-1334 Dr. Lai on Lomita Blvd ($40) He was CSULB team doctor for years. Just wanted to touch base with you to offer our clinic's services once again for sports physicals and any other sports-related needs. I know that tryouts for sports will begin soon and this would be a great benefit to your student athletes. I can provide you with an exclusive offer of $40 for individual physicals with EKG to Torrance High students. I know that Dr. Lai is dedicated to ensuring students stay safe and healthy and that is exhibited by the amount of time he spends with each athlete to provide a comprehensive exam. Here is a link to our website should you like to pass it along to your coaches, trainers and students. As you can see, Dr. Lai specializes in student athletes, concussions, and sports related injuries directly affecting high school students. https://www.jeffreylaimd.com/ 3655 Lomita Boulevard, Suite 202, Torrance CA 90505 (310) 501-2221 If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr Tachibana.
