California will impose a statewide mask mandate for indoor public places regardless of vaccination status.  The mask mandate goes into effect Wednesday and will remain in place until Jan. 15.  This also not only applies to contest, but also practices. 

Please let your athletes and families know about the mandate. If a parent or family member does not wish to wear a mask at home contests, they can access the game via https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/  Please let them know this is a subscription service. 

 It is imperative that all coaches and athletes on the bench wear a mask.  Any person working the game at the tables and or filmers must be masked.  Spectators are allowed as long as they wear a mask.
