Butte Womens Basketball Fundraiser

Welcome to the Butte College Women’s Basketball 2021-2022 Fundraiser. We would like to welcome you to our fundraiser and thank you for all your support this season. We are raising money for uniforms, training, transportation, and other expenses. Since teams rely on donations from family and friends, we want you all to follow our season, as we work towards trying to run it back and defend our 2019-2020 conference championship. When you sponsor an athlete on Blast Athletics you will receive a weekly email update that includes pictures, videos, scores, and recaps. About Us

The Butte College Lady Roadrunners enter their fifth season with Head Coach Tyler Newton leading the program. After a challenging year of recruiting and a season that was cancelled due to Covid, Coach Newton is very excited to pick up where the team left off two years ago and pursue another league championship. Coach Newton and his staff are very excited about the additions they have joining the team this year. In addition to adding 10 new freshmen to the roster, the program also returns 6 outstanding sophomores to give us the most depth we have ever had at Butte College. Annie Ward enters her second season as an assistant coach with the Lady Roadrunners, Kyle Williams enters his fifth year as assistant coach, while Justin Schneringer will be entering his third season as Newton’s head assistant. All our coaches on staff have great basketball backgrounds with high levels of success in both high school and at the college level. Their passion for the game is contagious and will all be huge assets to the program this season. Following a 2019-2020 campaign that saw the Lady Roadrunners win their first league title in 10 years, boasting a 23-7 record, ranked #10 in the state, coach Newton has high expectations for this year's team. Our mission this season is to find our team chemistry early and push each other to be great every day we step on the court. This is an exciting time for the Butte College Women's basketball program as we set the bar high for these young ladies and we are very excited to see them perform.
