Dana Stewart joined the Norse Softball Coaching Staff in the fall of 2021. Through high school and travel leagues, she has played competitive softball for 6 years and has 2 previous years of coaching experience. From 2012 to 2016 she worked at Bay College as a chemistry instructor and Supplemental Instruction Leader specializing in various STEM courses. Drawing on these experiences, Dana’s goal is to help players realize both their athletic and academic goals. In 2020 Dana graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University and her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Minnesota. She then returned to her home in the Upper Peninsula where she works as a Supervisory Public Health Veterinarian for the USDA.
