Maura Fletcher is entering her 16th season at NHS. She has earned SWC titles in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2017. She has been named CHSCA Coach of the year, CHSGLA Coach of the Year, as well as Ct Post Coach of the Year Honors. She has graduated multiple athletes competing at the College level D1, D2 and D3. In 2016 she was awarded the Newtown Bee’s Harmon Sportsman of the Year. She was inducted into the Fairfield County Sports Hall of Fame and awarded Sportsperson of the Year for the Fairfield County Sports Commission in 2014. Maura lives in Newtown and remains involved in the Newtown Youth Lacrosse community. She lives with her husband Dave and has four children, Annie, Will, Madeline and Charlie all who attended NHS and played multiple sports. Maura can be reached at [email protected]
