On behalf of the Dos Pueblos Wrestling team, it is with a great sense of hope that I write this letter to you. Last year, the Dos Pueblos Boys and Girls Wrestling team has long history of winning Channel League, with individual wrestlers advancing on to CIF Master’s and even State. We have hope for another strong season full of hard work and dedication in the 2021-2022 school year! In order to continue to be successful, we require equipment for the athletes such as singlets, warm up suits, headgear to prevent injury, solution to clean the mats and prevent infection, and hairnets for athletes with long hair. In addition, in order to prepare athletes to do well in the post-season, we must try to secure athletes as much time in real competition as possible. Competitions and tournaments incur such costs as travel expenses, fees, and nourishment for athletes after they cut weight. Our wrestlers want to wrestle as much as they can and your help could mean the difference between making it to a tournament or staying at home. We are asking for your support and hope you will be able to assist our program through a sponsorship or donation to purchase the necessary equipment required to maintain a prosperous wrestling team here at Dos Pueblos.
