Jakori M. Edwards is the Head Coach of Cam Sports South Heat. Coach Edwards has been coaching for 6 years. Edwards has coached on the college, high school level, and last summer was his third year coaching AAU. Edwards is currently earning his Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Leadership from Mercer University and Coach Edwards is an alumnus of Morehouse College where he obtained his degree in Kinesiology. Edwards also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Leadership from Mercer University. A native of Sylvester, Ga., Edwards started his coaching Career in 2018 at his alma mater Worth County High School. He spent 3 years as an assistant coach. He then went to serve as an undergraduate assistant coach at Morehouse College. He currently serves as an assistant boys basketball coach on the staff at Lee County High School. Coach Edwards is not a new face to Cam Sports Inc. Edwards started attending Cam Sports Inc Camps in 2011. Coach Edwards enjoys coaching and he has the right heartbeat for our youth. Edwards coaches hard and does everything he can to get the most out of his athletes. He looks forward to developing and getting to know the kids around South Georgia.
