I am a Caledonia graduate (class of 1981) and was a 4yr Varsity player, playing 2 years at #2 Singles and my senior year at #1 Singles. I have been coaching tennis at Caledonia for over 20 years. My passion is to continually grow interest in the game of tennis, for the players to see tennis as a life long sport and help our players to be as competitive as they can be. I personally have gotten back into competitive tennis 5 years ago playing with my son and have loved the competition. Lessons I learn while playing I try to share with the players that I coach.

I am a graduate of Caledonia High School and began coaching Caledonia athletes in the mid-1980s. I played 1st doubles for our varsity team and began coaching tennis in 1997. Since then, I have coached Varsity boys and girls, JV boys and been a varsity assistant. I have loved tennis my entire life and have found it one of the most difficult to improve at. My goals as a coach have always been to encourage our players to believe in doing the little things and that they are worth their best effort.
