Coaching Philosophy As a young athlete, I was drawn to football not just as a sport, but as a way of life. As a coach, I am committed to creating an environment where our football program is not just about winning games, but about instilling the core values that will serve our athletes well throughout their lives. Battleground High school class of 1979. Played offensive center at the University of Colorado ‘79-‘82. Started my coaching career as the OLine coach the following year at Western Washington University. This will be my 42nd year of coaching here in Clark County. My wife Lisa and I, along with our two Goldens (Duke and Jake) live here in Vancouver. I have been teaching at Harmony elementary for the last 9 years.
