My name is Matt Vaeena. I have had the privilege to teach at Decatur for the last six years and have had the honor to coach at Decatur for the last four years. I come to teaching and coaching from the world of youth work and my main focus is to provide an environment where our players can develop tools that will help them to be successful, especially off the field when the hang up the pads. We want them to be great children to their parents, awesome supports to the their siblings, to be great husbands and fathers in the futures, and to be active leaders in the communities they call home. All of the tools they need can be developed through the game of football.
