Coach Penna is the head coach at Conemaugh TWP High School in Somerset county and has been for the last 3 years. Before that Coach Penna was at Greater Johnstown High School where he led the Trojans to 3 District IV titles & is the 3rd winningest coach in the program’s history. Coach Penna is a 2-time SAFCA “Coach of the Year” and his 2016 team was 12-2 and broke the record for most wins in a season. Coach Penna is so thankful to all of his players and coaches, he loves each and every one of them and without them none of this would be possible. He is the son of legendary, long time coach, Tony Penna Sr. and has been blessed to be mentored by Bob Arcurio, Kevin Marabito, Ed Dreikorn, Sam Zambanini, Frank Blair, Don Galluci, Ron DiBuono, Ernie Fetzer, Dave Roman and Todd Cover. Coach Penna would like to thank his mother, Barb Penna and father. Also his sisters; Kelly, Cori, Deanne, Dana, Donna, Dara and his brothers; Scott, Roger, Jim & Gary and all of his nieces and nephews for their undying support. Special thanks to Bob Lichtenfels for a new lease on life. Much love to his wife of 22 years, Danielle and their children, Alli and Anthony.
