Coach Zach was born in Saskatchewan, Canada. His father’s career brought him to Colorado where he grew up and attended Legend High School. After graduating from Legend, Coach Zach played his college basketball at the University of Regina in Canada. He started coaching at age 19, and spent six years coaching at various levels in Canada. In 2020, he moved back to Colorado and started coaching at his Alma Mater Legend High School. Legend High School Basketball Coach. I have been at Legend for 9 years. I was assistant varsity coach on Legend's boys teams that went to the Final Four and Great Eight. I was head coach for Legend's girls program the last three years, where we made the Sweet Sixteen for the first time in school history and were Top 5 in scoring defense in the state for all three years. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with Coach Brenning and the boys' program this year.

My name is Tanner Ellis, I graduated from Legend in 2019. I was a 2 year varsity player under Coach Brenning. I am very excited to be on the coaching staff this year!

My name is Danny Garrick I am the assistant basketball coach here for Legend High School. I graduated Legend in 2016. I have played basketball at Nicholls State University as a division 1 athlete and I ended my career at Fort Lewis College a division 2 school in Durango, CO. I am excited to be back at LHS and looking forward to coaching the next generation!

Assistant Coach for Legend High School program 2022-2023. Help with skill development and skills training for all levels that relate to in game situations. Played at Legend High School from 2008-2012. Made 2nd Team All Conference 2008/2009, 1st Team All Conference 2009/2010, All Conference Honorable Mention 2012. Played in college at Hastings College (NAIA) and also Johnson & Wales Denver (NAIA). I will bring energy and love coaching and being around the game and developing the kids to be the best players and young men they can possibly be.
