Allison Brost
Head Coach
1 (715) 213-7421
Allison was born and raised in Wisconsin Rapids, WI where she graduated from Lincoln High School in 2015. She played tennis, basketball, and softball all throughout high school, but softball was always her #1 passion growing up. She was the starting varsity pitcher from freshman-senior year and earned all-conference recognition all four years of playing varsity. Her senior year she earned the Lincoln High School Female Athlete of the Year Award for her success and dedication to both my sports and academics. After high school, she attended college at Iowa State University from 2015-2020 and graduated with a degree in K-12 Physical Education and a minor in Sports and Recreation Management. She played on the Iowa State Club Softball Team, where she pitched, played second base, and outfield. Throughout her five years on the team, they qualified for the NCSA National Tournament in Columbus, GA three times, but unfortunately were only able to attend twice due to Covid. After college, she moved to Keystone, CO with a college friend and eventually found a Physical Education Position opening at Avon Elementary in Eagle County. Being offered the job at Avon was enough for her to move from Summit to Eagle County to start making a life for herself in Eagle County. She is starting her 3rd year teaching at Avon Elementary while taking on her second year as the BMHS Head Softball Coach. She has a passion for using sports to build character in young students and athletes. She's beyond excited for the opportunity to continue building this 2nd year program and help develop athletes into great players and even better people. Go Huskies!

David was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from North Allegheny High School in 2012, where he played football and baseball. David went on to be a student equipment manager for football at the University of Pittsburgh. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Communication. After working for two years in Pittsburgh, David decided to make a change and moved to the Vail Valley in the fall of 2018. He started working for a small IT company for a year but moved onto snowboarding instructor at Beaver Creek. He eventually found his place in the school district at Battle Mountain High School, first as a permanent substitute and then as the distance learning coordinator. He has a passion for baseball and wanted to become a coach to bring that passion to the players. Although this is his first season coaching, he is extremely excited and eager to bring his knowledge and passion for the game to the Battle Mountain baseball program. He is ready to help grow and develop the players not only as athletes but as young men as well.
