I was born and raised in Flagstaff and went to school at Flaghigh. I played football my entire life and I am a huge fan/student of the game. I am currently enrolled full-time at NAU with 3 semesters left to get my Bachelors in Biology. I have three sons, two of which play for the minors. This is my 6th year as a head coach for this organization and I was blessed with the privilege of seeing these kids grow since the Mighty Mites. My main focus is safety, building character, progressing in fundamentals, and teaching these kids the game of football. I want nothing but the best for these kids and have all of their best interests in my heart! I look forward to working with the children this season and getting to know all of you!

Graduated from Coconino High School in 1978 as a city champion winning 13-7. Started coaching youth football in 1981 with George Moate with the Packers with Northern Arizona Youth football. played 6 th grade flag football for Christensen elementary school and 8th grade football at East Flagstaff junior high school. Played at Coconino High School for Bill Epperson and played the first year of tackle football in flagstaff for the Hiants of pop Warner in 1972 for Chris Hull. Coaches the Packers as assistant from 1981 until 1983 when I became the Head Coach and stayed there until 1989 when I became an assistant coach at Flagstaff High school. I coached the jv in 1989 and the packers that year. Became the jv head coach in 1990 and moved to the varsity in 1991 coaching linebackers, tight ends and special teams for Craig Holland. In 1992 coached for John Padilla as Tight end and defensive back coach. Coached from 1993 to 2001 as jv freshmen and varsity assistant. In 2002 became varsity defensive coordinator and special teams at Flag Hi. In 2006 became head coach at Sinagua High School when Craig Holland left Flag Hi. Was head coach at Sinagua 2006 to 2007 and went back to Flag Hi in 2009 as defensive coordinator. Stayed at Flagstaff high until 2018 when I went to work for the city of flagstaff and my schedule wouldn’t let me continue coaching at the high school with my new duties. Coached the Rangers youth football team in 2019 and started helping Coach Serna in 2020 after the Covid epidemic. Always loved coaching and am here for your kids.
