1995 CIF, LA Times Player of the year at La Quinta High School going 15-0 win-loss record which is still a state record for wins without a loss. Drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 39th round but chose not to sign for a full scholarship to USC. Won the National Championship in 1998 at USC then sign with the Kansas City Royals in the 16th round of the MLB draft as a Junior. Named opening day starting pitcher for Single A Spokane Indians. Tore ulnar nerve in my pitching elbow after 3 starts which required Tommy John surgery. Opted to retire and became a Police Officer for 18 years. Served as pitching coach at USC the fall of 2018. Named Westminster High Schools Varsity Head Coach in 2019 leading the Lions to their first winning record in 10 years. In 2021 got Westminster HS into the playoffs for the first time in a decade. Resigned after 2021. Coached along side Justing Sellers in the CBA Dirtbags program since April of 2020. Named Head Coach/Recruiting Coordinator at SCLU in September of 2022
