In his first career, Billy rode race horses. Spending 9 years as a professional jockey, he became the nation’s number-one ranked quarter horse jockey in 1995. After a few serious injuries, Billy retired from riding and moved into his current career as a financial advisor and wealth manager. He owns several businesses including Peterson Wealth Services and enjoys raising and racing horses on his ranch in Morgan, Utah. He has coached youth sports for 14 years and has been the head coach at Morgan High School for 7 years. He loves to attend horse racing events, hunt, exercise, anything outdoors, watch his kids play sports and spend time with his wife Heather and their 5 children.
