John Cox Defensive Coordinator D-line For the past 40 years football has been a major part of my life, from Flag Football, Youth Football, High school and College Football. I started Coaching for Canyon High School 5 years ago and it has become a huge part of who I am. When I am out on the field coaching I bring an assertiveness, drive and intensity that comes from the game of football. I believe in hard work, accountability, respect and discipline. The best part of coaching for me is the developing of relationships on and off the field. The young men and women that play for me are not just players they are my extended family. For some of these young players, football is all they have and it motivates me to give all I have to put them in a position to be successful!
