I was born on the ball....literally. My mom was a pitcher and continued playing while I was in the womb. I think I came out with a ball of some sort in my hand? I LOVE competition and dig athletic activity. Softball has been in my blood from the get-go. I started playing in the backyard, moved to rec leagues in elementary school and still haven't stopped playing. I've played on teams with my parents, my siblings, and even played with & for Coach Robinson. I played Varsity ball in my tenure at EHS, 1 year at a community college, but then transferred to Corban University on a soccer scholarship. I couldn't stay away from softball though...I'm proud to have created a club softball team my senior year at Corban and two years later, they were a full fledged scholarship program. Also... I've still got 3 years of college eligibility and am looking for a way to use them. I still travel and play competitively, love messing with people's heads out on the field, giving teammates a hard time, and enjoying this old school game. Senior league is next....shhhh, don't tell anyone, age is just a number. I truly consider it an honor to work with your lovely young ladies; to mold and mentor in not only the game, but most importantly, in life. They have HUGE value and they don't often hear that in this world. Thank you for entrusting them to us!

Started playing hardball at age 10, and added fastpitch from age 16-33. At that time fastpitch died in Redding so I switched to slow pitch and Co I still play at age 73. I’ve been blessed to travel to tournaments with some high level teams, including a National ranked team. I’ve enjoyed coaching women’s softball for the past 45 years and still enjoy it. I believe sporting competitions prepare our players to deal with life.
