The question I get asked more than any other is why I spend so many countless hours Coaching Cheerleading. My reply is always the same, once a cheerleader, always a cheerleader. I love teaching my love and passion to the young ladies on my team and in return I receive the love and respect from not only the cheerleaders but their parents as well. I was taught at a young age that cheerleading was not just a sport but a way of life. This may sound theoretical to some, but I was a cheerleader from the time I was 6 years old. I cheered for Pop Warner as a child and then tried out for my high school cheer team as an incoming freshman and made the team. I cheered all 4 years and was a captain my senior year. I graduated high school and then cheered in college at FAU. Go OWLS - Hoot Hoot! In those many years as a cheerleader, I learned so many life-long lessons that have shaped me into the adult I am proud to be today. I Have had the pleasure of being a Cheer Coach for 14 years. I am so excited to be sharing my Love & Passion for Cheer with the Cheerleaders at South Fork High School. Go Bulldogs
