About Us

Capital City Steelers Youth Sports Association, Inc. (CCSYSA) is part of the national Pop Warner Little Scholars organization. We offer cheer and tackle football for youth ages 5-15. Tackle football eligibility is based on age/weight combinations set by Pop Warner Little Scholars. Our mission is to enhance the knowledge, confidence and fundamental skill sets for amateur level athletes by providing guided instruction, socially networked resources and mentorship programs; which is garnered by volunteers, community outreach programs and private & corporate level sponsorships. To provide an opportunity for kids between the ages of (3) three and (13) thirteen years old to participate in organized team sports and learn the values of competition, leadership, teamwork, dedication and sportsmanship. We also reinforce the values of education, family, community and respect for authority. Our overall goal is to provide an environment that’s safe, challenging and driven to provide positive life lessons for all participants within our athletic programs. CCSYSA is an all-volunteer 501c-3 non-profit organization serving boys and girls from ages 5 to 15 from all around the Wake County area. Tax ID# 56-1880708
