20 plus years of coaching at the High school, College and Professional level. This will be my 9th year as the HC at East Kentwood.

Coach Joel Smeenge, a former NFL player with 11 years of experience. Coach Smeenge has had a successful career in football, playing as a defensive end for the New Orleans Saints and the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is now bringing his knowledge and expertise to the field as a coach. His experience and passion for the game make him an excellent mentor for young athletes. He has a proven track record of developing players and helping them reach their full potential. As a coach he is committed to teaching fundamentals of the game, instilling discipline and teamwork, and providing guidance and support to his players.
