Coach Miguel is an Nogales High School Alumni. He played water polo and lead his team to CIF his senior year. He came back from college and coached water polo for 5 years. His assistant coach took over the program and went of a three year CIF Championship run. Subsequent coaches have gotten the team to qualify for CIF. Coach Miguel has been a teacher at Nogales for over 20 years and is returning to get the team back to CIF.

Coach Roy is a U.S. 4-time Olympic swimmer, gold-medaling in the Men’s 400m Individual Medley and the 1500m Freestyle. Just kidding, but that got your attention right? 😁 Coach Roy has been competing in competitive swimming since age 12. He swam Division 2 Varsity for 4 years in high school and made CIF alternate his senior year. His favorite events are the 100 Breaststroke, 500 Free, 200 Free, 100 Free, and 50 Free. As a Rowland High School alumni and former summer lifeguard at Nogales, it’s an honor to be back representing NHS for the swim team. 🏊🏻‍♂️ Thank you for supporting us! 💪🏻
