Bonita Choir Fundraiser

Bonita High School Choral Music is in great need for a new piano in the choir room at BHS. Our current piano has served us for 30 years of heavy use at the school and is beyond repair. This instrument is vital to the rehearsal experience our students enjoy everyday. Our program is typically sustained by ticket sales alone. However, the full cost of the piano is over our budget. We are excited to work with "Blast" to run a group fundraiser in order to offset the cost of a new piano (est. $20,000). About Us

Bonita High School is proud to have one of the most respected and acclaimed choral music programs in southern California. The 2022-23 Bonita High School Choral Music roster consists of over 200 students enrolled in 5 performing ensembles – Chorale, Men’s Choir, Women’s Choir, Concert Choir, and the premiere ensemble, Chamber Singers . All of the Bonita High School Choirs consistently receive superior ratings at local choral festivals and are frequent guest performers at the Disneyland Resort. Most recently, The Chamber Singes and select alumni have been chosen to participate in Disneyland Resort’s Candlelight Processional and Ceremony. The Chamber Singers and Concert Choir have performed in festivals and special concert events at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York City, Symphony Hall in Chicago, San Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, on the steps of the Jefferson memorial in Washington, D.C., Walt Disney World Epcot Center in Orlando, and have twice participated in the Pacific Basin Music Festival in Honolulu. In Spring of 2023, Concert Choir and Chamber Singers returned to the island of Oahu for a performance tour. The choirs present 4 major concerts each year to sold-out audiences, performing classical/concert literature as well as pop and musical theater.
