Coach Hildestad is originally from the suburbs of Chicago, however he has remained in Missouri since graduating from Mizzou in 2018 where he studied Secondary Social Studies Education. He began his teaching and coaching career at Battle High School, and moved to St. Louis during the summer of 2022. This will be his second year on the Marquette lacrosse staff, and he is also part of Marquette's football and teaching staff as he enters his fifth year teaching social studies. Coach Hildestad started playing lacrosse in the 5th grade for the local feeder program. He played club lacrosse for True Lacrosse for 5 years and was a 3-year Varsity player for Warren Township High school. Coach Hildestad started his coaching journey with Mid Missouri Lacrosse Club for 3 years while at Mizzou. After graduating he began coaching for Rock bridge High School in Columbia working with the Varsity team for 3 years. Roll Stangs!
