Coach Larry Brown is the winningest basketball player in University of Georgia history. He is credited with more wins than any player in the program history at the University of Georgia. As a two-sport star at the University of Georgia, Coach Brown started on the basketball team and was a four-year starter on the football team. While at UGA, Coach Brown received many academic and athletic awards and recognitions. He made ALL-SEC Honor Roll, ALL-SEC Football two years, Director’s Roundtable for academics, MVP of the basketball team, UGA Male Athlete of the Year and a finalist for the SEC Male Athlete of the Year. He also played in the NCAA Sweet sixteen, the NCAA NIT Final Four, and made 4 straight NCAA post-season tournament appearances. All these accomplishments were made while excelling in the classroom and majoring in Child and Family. Coach Brown played in Super Bowl XXXIV in his hometown of Atlanta, Ga and received an advance degree in Education. Coach brown has three children and love sports. His hobbies are playing golf and traveling.
