The Goodrich Softball Boosters would like to welcome you to our “Field of Dreams” Campaign. Over 25 years have passed since our Goodrich High School softball field and softball facilities have had major and much needed updates. Our goal is to provide our female softball athletes, with the same opportunities for growth and success through updating their resources, as you see in other programs and sports! We will soon have a rendering of our “Field of Dreams.” Below is the needed upgrade list. Our first 3 goals are to complete the replacement of the Outfield Fence, Sideline Fence and Backstop Fencing and Padding. *New outfield fence, from the 42” current height to 72” (6’) standard height for player and fan protection *New sideline fences, from the 42” current height to 72” (6’) standard height for player and fan protection *New Backstop padding and 20’ high fence *Newly rebuilt Dugouts *Behind the Backstop Stadium Seating *Upgraded Bleachers *New Press Box with updated sound system, added equipment storage area, and back side concession stand *New Irrigation System *Batting Cage and Bullpen improvements including new surround fencing. *Improvements to the Middle School Softball field.

About Us

Our softball program is producing exciting and amazing successes “on and off” the field through exemplifying the 3 A’s of athlete success: Academics, Athletics, and Attitude. Their achievements include: MHSSCA Academic All-State (3 years in a row), multiple academic awards handed out by NFCA; college commitments include Louisville, Oakland, Madonna, Mott, Schoolcraft and Lawrence Tech. Our players are being invited to play in the MHSCCA All-Star Game and Mott Community College All-Star Game! We are proud to have a 2023 MVP Mott Community College All-Star and a Division 2 Miss Softball among our program’s athletes! We were the 2023 FML Championship and District Championship with a 30 game Win streak! Yet, with all these athletic and academic successes, these young female athletes were humbled to be named the recipients of the 2023 MHSSCA Downing/Falco Community Service Award. These young ladies, surrounded by strong leadership, are clearly leaders in their community, donating tireless hours through putting on free clinics, acting as mentors, and the proud founders of the Holly Francis Acts of Kindness Tournament. You are a valued member of our Goodrich Martian softball community; we invite you to help make a meaningful impact on our program. Every contribution, no matter the size, plays a crucial role in the growth and success of our program.
