Tyler Pfizenmaier is entering his eleventh year as Strength and Conditioning Coach at Washburn Rural. Since his start, the program has included before and after school sessions as well as a summer program aimed at improving athletic performance and fitness. State Director of Kansas with the National High School Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association Level-1 certified in Reflexive Performance Reset techniques Prior to arriving at Washburn Rural, Pfizenmaier worked with the 2013 Big 12 Champion baseball team at Kansas State under Coach Ben Fleming. He was also fortunate to aid in the develop of three players selected in the 2013 MLB draft. He earned dual degrees in Nutrition and Exercise Sciences from Kansas State University and his Master's in Education from the University of Kansas. Additionally, he lives in the district with his wife and their two daughters.
