Fairfield, CT — The Mustangs had a strong win today vs Stamford after a tough loss last night to St Joe's. Warde edge the Black Knights 56 to 51 with key plays down the stretch from Austin Curran, Evan Defonce and Demian Vial. Jon Gladstone led the Mustangs in scoring for second straight night with 17 points (14 vs St Joes)Evan Defonce has been a consistent leader the past two games on both offense and defense. He is rebounding, getting steals and making plays on offense. Robert Bettes has had a strong two games to start the Season. He is a force down low and controlling the glass while defending very well. Warde travels to Norwalk on Tuesday.
