Definitely improvements from day 1 of camp. Finally learning that poaching is fun; becoming the windshield more often than the bug!

Marco, starting at #1 singles today, won all 3 sets played: 6-3, 6-0, 7-6 (7-4 tb). Marco came back from 4-5 and 5-6 to force and win the tie-breaker 7-4 in the next to last set of the afternoon. Well done.

Marco won all 3 sets easily, which also helped give us a safe margin on game count.

Marco gets MVP honors again for sweeping all 3 sets of singles vs Laguna Beach: 6-1, 6-1, 6-0. Great job today.

Marco defeated the guy playing # 1 in the first round: 6-2. Not sure if this was their best player, but Marco got 4 games off the guy on court 2 in the final round - very good effort today.

Marco Belciano “hat tricked” the Oilers winning all 3 of his sets: 6-0, 6-5 (tb), 6-4.

Marco won straight sets, winning 3 for 3 playing in the top singles spot against a couple of very good players. Congrats, well done Marco.

Marco had already “dispatched” their top 2 players 6-2, 6-1, and was starting on his 3rd before we got rained out. Only Lion to get 2 set wins in. Well done Marco.

Playing in our top spot, Marco won all 3 sets this afternoon: 6-0, 6-3, 6-0. El Toro’s top player, while having good strokes and a sound game, just couldn’t get untracked. Marco surprised himself with this lopsided win through great effort and some well timed lobs in this set that was tougher than the score suggests.

Marco easily won his sets vs their top player and #3 before subbing out to give teammates an opportunity to play. Well done and thank you!
