GREAT win today at line 3!

Won both sets of doubles assigned to her w Sophia Stewart.

Sophia came out of a little mini slump just in time! KOach was never worried!

Sophia also performed awesomely in preseason camps , winning most of her matches in smooth fashion. A little green in the doubles arena, but, teamed with Ellie to defeat 2 of HB's duos. Great job!

Sophia had no problems with any of the Rosary players this afternoon, winning all 3.

Sophia only lost one game! in 3 sets, winning the 2 others 6-0. But she had to work for it, the Gaels were pretty good players and there were a lot of long points going on.

Sophia Staff bounced back after a very long opening round loss (5-7) to win her next 2 sets, including beating their top player 6-2 in the final round.

Sophia and Neeka Barkhordar teamed together at line #1 to win all 3 sets played.

Sophia Staff waltzed into the semi-finals beating (8-2!) SM’s undefeated (season) 5th singles player who had just upset their own undefeated and the tournament #3 seed. This was a huge upset and great “MVP”win for Sophia, well done!

Sophia Staff, 9th grader, won all 3 sets played today: 6-3, 6-0, 6-1, getting stronger and playing more aggressively as the afternoon wore on.

Sophia and partner Erica Gonzalez won 2 of 3 sets played, 7-5 and 6-4. These two really stepped up today, great job!
