About Me

My name is Jasmine Del Rio, and I attend Arcadia High School, in Arcadia, California. I am currently a setter on The Varsity Team as a Sophomore. I am going to be playing Club this upcoming season on the One's Team for Forza One West. I’ve been playing volleyball since Fourth Grade, and I love everything about it! Initially, I was coached by my brother before my mother became the assistant coach of my Seventh Grade team. In addition to playing on my school’s team, however, I have played outside volleyball for my city’s recreation department and in a club, as well. Next year, I intend to play for my high school team as I pursue the dream of playing in college. To reach this goal, I’ve also made an effort to join any and all volleyball clinics and camps that I come across, as well as private lessons when possible. I recently had the opportunity to Meet Jordan Thompson and Jordyn Poulter From Team USA. It was such an exciting moment in my life! Though my focus is often heavily centered on volleyball, I still make an effort to remain on top of everything academically; I have a 4.0 GPA, and I engage in academic activities, such as tutoring, outside of school. When I am not playing volleyball or studying, I enjoy painting, spending time with my family and friends, and volunteering to give back to my community.
