Zeeland, MI — The Sailor Boys Basketball team lost a tough game on the road at Zeeland West Wednesday night 61-44. Zeeland out-rebounded the Sailors while the Sailors went cold from the field in the second quarter. The sailors tied the second half but couldn’t make headway. Leading the Sailors was Ethan Krueger with 11 points and Keontae Richards had 8 points and 3 assists. Emari King played his heart out and gets the tough teammate award tonight. The Sailors are 4-4 on the season and 1-1 in conference.

Grand Rapids , MI — The Mona Shores Boys Basketball team was down two going into the second half against Tri Unity Christian but pulled away with stifling defense down the stretch. The Sailors outscored Tri Unity by 13 in the second half. Keontae Richards had a career high game with 23 points on 8/9 shooting including 3/4 from deep while adding 6 assists, 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Parker Swartz had a standout game again with 24 points 5 rebounds and some critical shots at key moments of the game. The 2-2 Sailors play Covenant Christian Wednesday night at 6:15 at the Cornerstone Invitational.
