Westfield, IN — The Stars picked up right where they left off in game 2 as they capped the day with a 19-4 win over Southeastern Illinois. Matt McKeon (So. RHP, Okemos) and Macoy West (Fr. RHP, Buchanan) each struck out a pair in their inning of work on the mound. Talon Rowe (Fr. 1B, Mason) blasted 2 home runs and a double to pace the Stars offensively while Mazzola, Lay and Bowen each added triples. Noah Bright (So. C, Macomb), Alan Gaber (Fr. C, Las Vegas, NV), Lay & Bowen all collected multiple hits in the game. Marco Johnson (So. UT, Canton) tallied 3 walks in 3 plate appearances.

Westfield, IN — Hunter Lay (So. SS, Chelsea) doubled and homered to kickstart the offense in the 9-6 win over Danville Area. Payton Mazzola (So. OF, Grandville) added 2 hits and 2 stolen bases as well. On the mound the Stars were led by Isiah Lindsey (So. RHP, Spring Lake) who struck out 2 in 2.1 innings of work and Braden LaRusso (Fr. RHP, Saline), who struck out the side in one inning of work.

Lansing, MI — Game two began with cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 30's. Freshman Elijah Stark was the starting pitcher, and the right-hander went six innings, allowing zero runs while striking out four. With the lights on Freshman, Lukas Brewer came on in relief in the seventh inning to slam the door on another Stars victory, 5-0. The Stars had nine hits and were led by Blake McRae (2-2) and Hunter Lay(2-3). Jace Preston, Shane Juday, McRae, and Lay all had doubles in the game. With this win, the Stars move to 4-0 in conference play and 10-5 on the season. Lansing will travel to Macomb on Friday for an Eastern Conference doubleheader before returning home to Municipal to wrap the series up on Saturday.

Lansing, MI — Brendan Beaver was the starting pitcher in game one, and he threw five innings while scattering four hits and two runs. Freshman pitchers Nick Baidoon and Cole Heikkinen entered the game to close out the game in relief. The Stars racked up 11 hits and were led by Shane Juday (3-3) and Brendan Ham (2-3). Noah Bright and Payton Mazzola both had doubles in the game, and when the final out came in the 7th inning, Lansing won the game 8-4.
